Job Description
- Oversee and manage the entire tender process for signage projects, from the receipt of tender documents to final submission.
- Analyze tender requirements, specifications, and client needs to ensure compliance and identify key project deliverables.
- Ensure all tender documentation is completed accurately, clearly, and in line with client expectations.
- Work closely with Estimation Team, Design, production, installation, and project management teams to gather technical information and cost estimates.
- Draft technical and financial proposals, including detailed specifications, pricing, timelines, and risk assessments.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the tendering process, providing clarification on any queries or concerns they may have.
- Attend pre-tender meetings and site visits to gather critical information and ensure the company fully understands client needs.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients, understanding their signage requirements and business objectives.
- Assist with price negotiations and contract finalization, ensuring that the proposal remains competitive while protecting company margins.
- Manage the tender process through to the final decision, ensuring timely and accurate responses to client requests.
- Identify potential risks during the tendering process and work with the project and estimate teams to develop mitigation strategies.
- Review and analyze feedback from clients and internal teams after tender submission to identify areas for improvement in future bids.
- Assist in the smooth handover of awarded projects to the project management team for execution.
- Track success rates of tenders and maintain a database of tender results for future reference and learning.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architectural or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in tender management, project coordination, or estimating, ideally within the signage, construction, fit-out, or metal works.
- Technical Expertise: Familiarity with CAD software, PRIMAVERA, technical drawings, and understanding of sign design and manufacturing processes.
- Negotiation & Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical proposals to clients. Strong ability to negotiate prices and contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Primarily office-based, but the role may involve site visits and client meetings.
- Flexible working hours may be required to meet deadlines, particularly during peak tender periods.
- Open to travel outside the UAE for business purposes.
