Job description

Our client is a vegetable bulk commodity trader and sea vessel logistics operator and owner. We procure our commodities (corn, soybeans, wheat, barley, etc..) from world-wide origins such as Latin America, North America, Europe, and Asia.

Job Title: Temporary Receptionist
Location: Binary Tower, Business Bay
Employment Type: Temporary (2 weeks)
Job Duration: 3rd Julyto 18th July 2025
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM
Visa- You should've your own visa (Family Sponsored/Golden visa/ Freelance Visa)that is valid for more than 6 months.
Compensation: AED 250 per day (12 working days)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and greet visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
  • Handle and distribute incoming mail and packages.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings and appointments.
  • Provide basic information to clients and visitors when needed.
  • Maintain the reception area to ensure it is clean and presentable.
  • Manage general administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and scanning.
  • Coordinate with other departments for support tasks.
  • Follow security procedures when issuing visitor badges or checking access.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle a multi-line phone system.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • A positive and professional attitude.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Available to start immediately.
