Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of banking operations and techniques.
• Proficient in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
• 2–3 years' teller experience.

Responsibilities

• Process cash transactions (deposits/withdrawals) and balance cash at day end.
• Verify signatures on cheques and ensure approvals as per authority levels.
• Handle all types of clearing/collection cheques and issue pays orders/drafts.
• Monitor cash deposits and note quality to detect unusual activity.
• Maintain cash position to ensure sufficient cash for customers and safeguard the cash safe.
• Meet service standards and branch targets; alert management to suspicious activity.
• Sort and deposit soiled notes as required and manage cash safely.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
