Processing of all teller counter service transactions such as cash deposits, cash withdrawals, drafts, telegraphic transfers, payment orders, standing orders, foreign currency purchases and sales, cheque deposits, etc., in line with operational policies and procedures.
Where centralized telegraphic transfers are involved, liaise with the Treasury department to obtain the best rates for VIP and/or high net worth customers in coordination with HOPs.
These responsibilities may also include serving Private Banking customers at separate counters and processing any other counter service transaction introduced by ADIB from time to time.
Cross-sell or identify and refer product inquiries from prospective customers to Sales staff.
General reconciliation and control activities:
Act as one of the dual custodians for branch vault cash and security stationery.
Assist HOP as the second custodian for dual control.
Cash reconciliation and balancing.
End of day balancing.
General filing.
Ensure proper understanding and processing for all centralized activities as per Branch Operations Centralization Projects.

Previous experience required:
Minimum two (02) months experience/training as a teller in a banking environment/ADIB Academy.
