Job Title: Telesales Representative

Job Description:

The Telesales Representative is responsible for engaging potential and existing customers over the phone to promote and sell products or services. This role requires excellent communication skills, persuasive selling techniques, and a customer-focused mindset. The ideal candidate should be comfortable making outbound calls, handling objections, and achieving sales targets while maintaining a high level of professionalism. This position plays a crucial role in generating revenue and building strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  1. Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to promote and sell products or services.
  2. Identify customer needs and offer appropriate solutions to drive sales.
  3. Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s offerings and effectively communicate benefits to customers.
  4. Handle objections and provide relevant information to address customer concerns.
  5. Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns and other channels.
  6. Maintain accurate records of calls, customer interactions, and sales in the CRM system.
  7. Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  9. Work collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams to refine sales strategies.
  10. Stay updated with industry trends and competitor offerings to enhance sales techniques.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business is a plus.
  2. Proven experience in telesales, inside sales, or a similar customer-facing role.
  3. Strong communication and negotiation skills with a persuasive approach.
  4. Ability to handle rejection and remain motivated to achieve targets.
  5. Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
  6. Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
  7. Customer-focused mindset with a positive attitude.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  9. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  10. Prior experience in a call center or a fast-paced sales environment is preferred.
