Telecom Maintenance Engineer - Planning & Reliability

Job summary

ADNOC in the United Arab Emirates seeks a seasoned Telecommunications Engineer to supervise, ensure and optimize plant telecom systems, coordinating maintenance, testing and fault resolution to maximize reliability and safety across our operations.

You will plan and execute maintenance programs, review designs from service providers, integrate new telecom technologies, and lead teams including technicians and contractors while upholding HSE standards and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
• 6 years of experience in managing Telecom Engineering services within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Good knowledge and experience in Industrial Telecommunications.
• Experience in guiding technicians for testing and troubleshooting of Telecom, CCTV, PAGA and plant access control systems, testing and troubleshooting of cable networks.
• Experience in using MAXIMO for planning, scheduling and analysing work orders
• Experience in supervising subordinates and contractor activities.
• Planning and Organising, Scheduling and Coordinating, Checking, Examining and Recording
• Working with Tools and Technology

Responsibilities

• Maintenance planning, execution and expertise.
• Provide technical advice in maintenance of Plant telecommunications systems.
• Carry out specialized repair/maintenance of telecom systems.
• Plan and prepare maintenance programs and control costs with safety in mind.
• Develop studies and write requirements for new projects ensuring standardization.
• Review engineering designs from service providers, vendors and EPC contractors.
• Identify and test new telecom technologies to meet business needs.
• Coordinate installations during construction and witness acceptance tests.
• Review telecom activities performed by projects and contractors.
• Plan and supervise preventive/predictive maintenance and troubleshooting.
