Your Title : Tekla Technical Customer Support Specialist

Job Location : Hybrid from our Dubai Office - 2-3 Days office based on avg

For our Tekla Technical Customer Support Specialist role, we are seeking someone with experience working in structural or civil engineering. Someone who enjoys sharing their knowledge and wishes to upskill, to effectively become a Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds and Trimble Connect superuser. A professional who our clients' structural and civil teams can work with to complete complex projects using our Tekla products.

To be successful in this role you will have a background in structural / civil engineering and want to move into construction software support and development. This is not a call centre; this is a team of structural and civil professionals working together to help our clients get the best out of Trimble’s Tekla software suite. This is not an IT support role; knowledge of civil / structural engineering is essential.

Our customers use our software to detail everything from commercial projects to the iconic structures all across the Emirates and wider Middle East as well as national and international infrastructure projects.

What you will do :

1. Deliver high-level technical support to the users of our Tekla software. Speaking to customers on video calls, by email, live chat or answering questions on our forums.
2. Creating, updating and delivering training courses remotely or at sites across the Emirates.
3. Building our knowledge base by writing technical support content for the Tekla User Assistance site.

What skills & experience you should bring :

1. High proficiency in Tekla Structures.
2. Have a degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent, from an accredited University.
3. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Strong troubleshooting ability and proven aptitude to learn new software and technology tools quickly.
6. Ability to produce clear and structured texts.
7. Fluent written and spoken English.
8. Utilise excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
9. Well-organised, self-directed team player.
10. Remains open to others’ ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things.
11. Arabic written and spoken language skills would be an advantage but not essential.
