Overview

Arabian Gulf Business Insight (AGBI, agbi.com) is a business news platform dedicated to creating insightful content for senior business leaders across the MENA region and global markets. With a brand ethos of 'others tell you what, we tell you why', AGBI has caught the attention of the world’s biggest companies across the region. We are now recruiting for a journalist who will specialise in the technology sector in the Gulf and wider Middle East to join our newsroom in Dubai.

From AI and Bitcoin to cybersecurity and fintechs, technology is a vital sector for the publication. The Technology Editor will be the subject matter expert within the team and will develop contacts and insights in areas including but not limited to: fintech, artificial intelligence, cyber security, payment systems, telecoms, the cloud, crypto, and driverless vehicles.

The successful candidate will have experience of the Middle East and these vital sectors and the ability to write English accurately and at speed, explaining complex issues to a sophisticated audience.
