Job Purpose
The Project Delivery Manager is responsible for end‑to‑end delivery of GTB platform integrations (OBP, OBLM, OBVAM) as part of the Flexcube 14.8 core banking upgrade across UAE and IBG countries, ensuring on time, on budget, and stable delivery with no business disruption.
Key Result Areas
- Delivery & Execution: End‑to‑end delivery of GTB integrations aligned with Flexcube 14.8 milestones.
- Ownership of SIT, regression, UAT, and cutover readiness.
- Defect governance, prioritization, and resolution oversight.
Operating Environment & Framework
- Operates within established SDLC, change management, release, and deployment governance frameworks.
- Delivers in a multi‑vendor, multi‑stakeholder environment, managing complex inter‑system and cross‑team dependencies.
- Primary accountabilities include delivery alignment, execution ownership, dependency management, risk and issue resolution, and readiness for go‑live.
- Ensures delivery execution aligns with approved scope, architecture, regulatory, and control standards.
Working Relationships
- Works closely with GTB tech application owners, product owners, business, and operations teams.
- Partners with technology stakeholders (core banking, integrations, infrastructure, security, architecture, QA).
- Acts as the single delivery point of contact for external vendors, driving execution and delivery commitments.
- Provides delivery options, impact assessments, and execution recommendations to enable informed senior management decision making.
Communication Channels
- Delivery planning and execution tracking.
- Risk, issue, and dependency management.
- Change impact assessment and resolution.
- Ensures senior management is kept informed of delivery status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans in a timely and transparent manner.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Engineer/Post‑Graduate with 12+ years of experience in corporate banking application implementation.
- Minimum 5 years in team management, project management, and implementation management.
- Cross‑border team working experience.
- Strong business orientation and domain knowledge to comprehend user requirements.
- Strong organizational, team building, and leadership qualities.
- Knowledge of banking domain is a must.
- Strong understanding of SDLC process.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent project management experience.
- Experience working in large‑scale programs, e.g., corporate banking implementation.
- Good verbal and written communication including ability to prepare system documentation.
- Ability to interpret solution documentation and identify areas of concern and recommend approach.
- Ability to multi‑task in a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines.
- Ability to communicate clearly with business users and stakeholders.
- Ability to complete all phases of the software development life cycle.
- PMI, API & integrations knowledge, Certified Scrum Master – an added advantage.
