They are looking for someone who fits the following mandate:

  • You will work on the venture building side of the business in a full-time capacity.
  • You will be a mid to senior level lawyer capable of working independently and with a specialism in technology, with strong commercial contract drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Exposure to healthcare would be an advantage but not essential - the main project is a technology implementation project and will be supported by the GC and they will have the ability to refer to external counsel for specialist healthcare regulatory matters.
  • Ideally based in Abu Dhabi with the ability to attend meetings (or Dubai with the ability to commute). Remote working is a possibility.

The areas of advice and support needed going forward include:

  • Transactional and regulatory advice relating to IT and new technologies
  • Public Private Partnerships (particularly in the health, oil & gas and utilities sectors)
  • Outsourcing and offshoring
  • Joint Ventures, strategic alliances and ecosystem agreements
  • Healthcare (especially any healthcare regulatory experience)

We are ideally seeking someone already in the region, common law qualified with an international law firm background. You will earn a competitive salary based on experience.
