Position: Techno-Commercial Manager

Industry: Lubricants & Chemical Additives

Location: UAE (with regular customer visits across the UAE & occasional international travel)

Experience: 10+ years in sales within lubricants/additives or related chemical industry

Job type: Full time (On-site)

Level: Senior

Age Preference: 30+ years

Job Purpose: We are seeking a dynamic Techno-Commercial Manager with a strong sales mindset and technical understanding of lubricant additives/finished lubricants. The ideal candidate will drive business growth by managing key accounts, developing new clients, and providing technical-commercial support in the UAE and select export markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers (B2B) across the UAE.
  2. Conduct regular customer visits to understand needs, provide solutions, and close sales.
  3. Support international sales efforts with occasional travel for export customers.
  4. Collaborate with technical and procurement teams to offer product recommendations (training provided if needed).
  5. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  6. Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and pricing strategies.
  7. Support, mentor, and provide professional development opportunities to the international sales team.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in purchasing or selling lubricant additives.
  2. Technical background (chemistry, engineering) with sales acumen.
  3. Familiarity with UAE/GCC markets.
  4. Proven sales-driven personality.
  5. Willingness to travel locally (UAE) and occasionally internationally.
  6. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  7. STLE or ICML certification or equivalent.
