Job summary

General Civil Aviation Authority in Abu Dhabi seeks a technically proficient professional to oversee projects planning and execution, ensuring timely completion of tasks within defined timelines and clear roles for each team member. You will manage system and service provision, perform upgrades per guidelines, and ensure timely maintenance and fault rectifications.

You will communicate with external parties to resolve issues, and maintain thorough records and documentation of outages and repairs

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent
• Diploma or apprenticeship in a relevant technical discipline as defined in the JD matrix

Responsibilities

• Project planning and execution to ensure timely completion within defined timelines
• System and service provision including maintenance and fault rectifications
• Carry out system and technology upgrades per guidelines
• Communicate maintenance and fault-related issues with external parties to drive resolution
• Record and document all maintenance and outage activities for reference and audit

System and Service Provision

• Ensure timely and reliable system maintenance and fault rectifications per the standards and recommended practices.

Technology and System Upgrades

• Carry out system and technology related upgrades as per guidelines.

Communication with external parties

• Communicate maintenance and fault related issues with relevant parties to ensure resolution in the most optimal manner.

Records and Documentation

• Ensure that all documentation related to system outage rectification and maintenance is recorded and documented as per guidelines for any use or reference.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

• Degree in a relevant technical discipline Diploma in a relevant technical discipline or a recognized apprenticeship without previous experience or as defined in the JD matrix.
