Job summary

Convergint in Dubai is seeking a Security Systems Engineer responsible for operation, maintenance, testing and hand-over to clients, covering Networking, CCTV, ACS, IDS and power.

You will monitor faults, coordinate with clients and IT, maintain firmware, keep records, advise on upgrades and supervise technicians during implementations. Experience with Milestone, Genetec or Axis cameras and Lenel access control is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronics or IT with physics background.
• Certifications in security systems such as CCTV, access control and video analytics.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in security systems across projects.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fault logs, identify issues, perform root cause analysis, and report findings.
• Coordinate with clients, IT, and other teams to resolve faults and ensure proper system functioning.
• Maintain firmware, security patches, and configurations for optimized performance.
• Keep detailed records of faults, PPMs, and callouts.
• Ensure network security measures are implemented and maintain security systems and user protocols.
• Advise clients on system upgrades and provide refresher training as needed.
• Monitor system performance, handle routine operations, and supervise technicians during implementation and repairs.

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for all Security Systems operation, maintenance work execution, testing, and hand-over to Clients. Ensure that all required infra-structure needs are available/ready and this cover: Networking, CCTV, ACS, IDS and power requirements to ensure smooth operations of all systems on site.

• Certifications: Cisco CCNA, CCNP, BCNE, CCTV (Milestone, Genetec, Axis), ACS (LENEL, KERISYS, PAXTON), Biometrics, Barriers, Bollards, Road blockers, Spike bumps, ANPR, video analytics.

Work Experience:

• Required: 3 years of experience in security systems across total or turn-around projects.
