About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for aTechnician (Room Care) to joinJumeirah Al Qasr. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Review and understand room care-related complaints, bring necessary tools to site, assess and resolve issues as needed
• Perform repairs, replacements, and routine maintenance on furniture, fixtures, fittings, and minor electrical or plumbing components
• Respond politely to guest or colleague inquiries, provide room care-related information, and resolve issues promptly
• Complete work orders, preventive maintenance, and corrective work assignments as directed
• Use proper materials from the engineering store and record all collections accurately
• Keep logs of all tasks completed, and report damages beyond scope to team leaders with suggested solutions

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• One or two years of experience in the same role with a luxury 5-star property; experience in the UAE is desirable.
• Secondary education required; vocational certification and trade qualification preferred.
• Strong technical skills in trade, basic computer literacy, and knowledge of safety and building systems.
• Proficient in English, able to work independently and adapt to diverse environments.
