Qualifications

Description:

1. Repair the vehicle in accordance with the instructions on the repair order and within the allotted time frame.
2. Ensure to follow the process in the painting.
3. Ensure to perform the paint mixing as per the required colour code formula of the respective vehicle.
4. Ensure to use all necessary PPE in the painting process.
5. Ensure to maintain the paint booth including the filter replacement on time. Perform repairs in accordance with the standards and the manual of work instructions.
6. Ensure work in accordance with the Fix it Right the First-Time principle to avoid Shop Come again.
7. Team Leader, Foreman, and Controller receive feedback on supplementary repairs.
8. Notify the Team Leader/Foreman in advance of any delays in the work.
9. As directed by the Team Leader/Foreman/Controller, must work overtime whenever the workshop workload increases.
10. Record in the repair order all consumables received from the stores for the respective vehicle.
11. Ensure that parts requests are communicated to the parts division via the team leader.
12. Notify/obtain approval from the Team Leader/Foreman before performing additional repairs.
13. Ensure that customer vehicles are covered with protective covers.
14. Maintain 5's in the office.
15. Ensure W/S safety procedures and requirements are strictly adhered to in accordance with SOP and workplace safety gear (personal safety/equipment safety/vehicle, customer's etc.).
16. Keep the dress code neat and tidy.
17. Ensure that the materials listed on job cards are utilized on the appropriate vehicle.
18. Perform final inspection in accordance with the standard check sheet prior to moving the vehicle to the painting section.
19. Ensure to be aware of chassis repair procedure and holding skills to perform jobs in Chassis Alignment Bench.

Qualifications:

1. University Graduate/Diploma/ITI
2. Computer skills
3. 3 to 5 years’ experience in multi-brand automotive workshop/automotive dealer.
