Key Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs on material handling equipment in the workshop and at customer sites.
• Diagnose equipment faults accurately and recommend practical repair solutions.
• Perform troubleshooting on forklifts, industrial handling equipment, components, electrical circuits, and mechanical systems.
• Complete servicing, repairs, and component overhauls in line with technical standards and customer requirements.
• Reduce repeat repairs by applying a strong right‑first‑time approach to every job.
• Inspect equipment during servicing to identify potential failures before they become major issues.
• Follow service manuals, technical checklists, repair procedures, and standard operating practices.
• Maintain high productivity while ensuring workmanship quality and repair accuracy.
• Communicate clearly with the Service Supervisor regarding job progress, repair findings, parts requirements, and completion status.
• Support field service calls when equipment needs attention at customer locations across the UAE.
• Carry out workshop repairs with proper use of tools, diagnostic methods, safety practices, and technical instructions.
• Maintain clean and safe working practices during all repair and maintenance activities.
• Record repair actions, inspection findings, service details, and job updates accurately.
• Escalate complex technical issues when additional guidance, parts, or specialist support is required.
• Support customer satisfaction by delivering reliable repairs, professional conduct, and efficient service response.
• Work with team members to improve service quality, equipment uptime, and workshop productivity.
• Use technical knowledge to support continuous improvement in maintenance methods, fault diagnosis, and repair turnaround time.

Ideal Profile

• Trade certificate or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working on material handling equipment.
• Experience with Hangcha equipment is preferred.
• Proven ability to independently carry out servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and component overhauls.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems used in forklifts and industrial handling equipment.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes and complete effective repairs.
• Comfortable working in both workshop and field service environments.
• Able to follow technical manuals, service checklists, repair instructions, and SOPs accurately.
• Strong focus on safety, repair quality, productivity, and first‑time fix performance.
• Valid UAE manual driving license is mandatory.
• Good communication skills in English are required.
• Arabic communication skills will be an advantage.
• Customer‑focused attitude with the ability to represent the service team professionally during field visits.
• Strong attention to detail when inspecting equipment, recording work, and completing service documentation.
