Plans electrical projects by determining specifications, selecting contractors, establishing installation schedules, planning shut-downs and installations, integrating architectural and mechanical design specifications, verifying code requirements, and updating cost estimates.
• Plan and follow up preventive maintenance schedule for production machinery
• Coordinate/ Initiate machine improvement
• Procurement of machinery's parts
• Ensure his own safety and other people's safety while carrying out maintenance jobs
• Educate subordinates in developing their skills and knowledge.
• Follow and implement all IMS system procedures
• Comply with all related legal requirements
• Attend to machinery breakdowns as and when problems arise
• Carry out other assignments given by his superior
• Take full responsibility for factory safety, health, and environment aspects, ensuring they are identified and properly managed to meet legal requirements
• Liaise with Department Heads on all safety, health, and environment aspects
• Prioritize SHE programs and ensure effective and consistent implementation
• Provide training and coaching for employees, contractors, transporters, and others to enhance their understanding and capabilities on SHE-related matters
• Maintain SHE-related documents and provide monthly reports on Lost Time Incidents (LTI) to management
• Investigate SHE-related cases brought to attention and ensure effective implementation of management programs
• Coordinate with authorities, ensuring all reports and documents are well prepared and submitted timely
• Arrange and participate in safety committees and follow up on action status
Minimum of 3+ years of maintenance (Electrical) work experience in any manufacturing setup
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or business
