Job Overview

Job Purpose

Perform all analytical testing for process streams, sampling, maintenance, and HSE related samples according to internationally accepted standard methods for quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct a variety of quantitative and qualitative laboratory tests and analyses following established methods and instructions.
  2. Collect samples from the plant using standard sampling procedures to ensure precise and reliable data supporting research.
  3. Input test results into the Laboratory Information System (LIMS) and Business Object reporting software, ensuring accuracy.
  4. Prepare and standardize chemical reagents for laboratory tests and online analyzers.
  5. Report instrument faults and apparatus damages to the shift supervisor.
  6. Monitor sampling procedures and schedules to ensure proper equipment functioning and reliable results.
  7. Perform trial runs on newly installed or repaired laboratory equipment and analyzers to verify proper operation and accuracy.
  8. Maintain inventory records of chemicals, calibration materials, gases, spares, and consumables for timely replenishment.
Qualifications

Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate in the relevant field.

Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
