Job summary

A leading aerospace technology company in Dubai is seeking a GAINS Technician responsible for inspecting and repairing Galley inserts. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience and strong communication skills. You will be working primarily on the production floor, adhering to safety and quality standards. GAINS Technician

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for inspecting, testing, cleaning, and repairing Galley inserts in accordance with established procedures and technical data.
• Responsible for troubleshooting and clearing of defects.
• Follow repair and return processes to ensure high quality and short cycle times.
• Maintain high standards of quality.
• Comply with all Collins Aerospace rules and regulations, including Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics, International Trade Compliance, and Human Resources.
• Accurately document maintenance activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to utilize computer systems (MS Office, etc.) to input and retrieve information.
• Availability for overtime, including extended workdays and weekends.
• Adherence to EH&S policies, including wearing appropriate PPE and attending trainings.
• Report unsafe practices or conditions.
• Recommend improvements to EH&S practices.
• Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working on ovens, beverage makers, and chillers is preferred.

Working Conditions:

• 100% of time on production floor, with occasional loud noise requiring safety glasses.
• Constant exposure to adhesive and solvent vapors.
• Frequent pushing, pulling, and lifting of hardware.
• Exposure to machinery with moving parts.
