A leading energy firm in Dubai is seeking a CNG Technician to perform maintenance and troubleshooting on compressor packages in the oil and gas sector. Ideal candidates should have 25 years of maintenance experience and a diploma in Mechanical & Electrical. The role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision, along with a valid UAE driving license.

Qualifications

Job description

CNG Technician

Responsibilities

• Carry out monthly preventive maintenance activities for compressor packages as per schedule.
• Involve in the commissioning & and operational activities of the compressor package.
• Carry out any jobs that need emergency rectification at the compressor package (Mechanical & Electrical) and at the dispenser filling station.
• Attend all assigned breakdowns promptly carry out necessary repair works and ensure that equipment is returned to service as soon as possible.
• Conduct a routine test for the intake system air compressors CNG compressor electrical control gas management panel water cooling system and dispenser filling point.
• Preventive and corrective reports to be prepared and sent timely to the Maintenance Engineer.
• Rectify minor case of major problems report to the Maintenance Engineer for advice.
• Inspect and monitor the CNG package for smooth operation.
• Should be aware of electrical PLC and instrumentation troubleshooting when necessary.
• Record parameters and other readings on daily basis.
• Contributes to team effort by achieving related results as needed.
• Respond to any direction provided by the Maintenance Engineer on the shift.
• Maintain proper housekeeping in compressor package.

• Can work with a minimum of supervision and be able to manage his time when given multiple tasks.
• Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical or higher
• Should have a valid driving UAE driving License
• Required Experience: IC
