Job description

CNG Technician

Responsibilities

1. Carry out monthly preventive maintenance activities for compressor packages as per schedule.
2. Involve in the commissioning & operational activities of the compressor package.
3. Carry out any jobs that need emergency rectification at the compressor package (Mechanical & Electrical) and at the dispenser filling station.
4. Attend all assigned breakdowns promptly, carry out necessary repair works, and ensure that equipment is returned to service as soon as possible.
5. Conduct a routine test for the intake system, air compressors, CNG compressor electrical control, gas management panel, water cooling system, and dispenser filling point.
6. Prepare and send preventive and corrective reports timely to the Maintenance Engineer.
7. Rectify minor problems; in case of major problems, report to the Maintenance Engineer for advice.
8. Inspect and monitor the CNG package for smooth operation.
9. Should be aware of electrical PLC and instrumentation troubleshooting when necessary.
10. Record parameters and other readings on a daily basis.
11. Contribute to team effort by achieving related results as needed.
12. Respond to any direction provided by the Maintenance Engineer on the shift.
13. Maintain proper housekeeping in the compressor package.

Requirements

Qualifications

1. 25 years of experience in the maintenance department in the oil and gas industry.
2. Knowledge of reviewing P&ID and electrical drawings.
3. Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and manage time effectively when given multiple tasks.
4. Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical or higher.
5. Should have a valid UAE driving license.
