About The Role

A Technician 2, BMS Operator, ensures the smooth operation of building systems within the property, supporting guest comfort and operational excellence. Responsibilities include preventive and condition-based maintenance of systems managed via BMS, such as HVAC, lighting, water, elevators, fire safety, and refrigeration.

The technician monitors BMS alarms, adjusts system parameters based on occupancy and environmental conditions, logs performance data, escalates issues, and ensures safety protocols and brand standards are followed. Flexibility for rotational shifts, strong technical skills, and a proactive attitude are essential. The role also involves supporting junior team members and maintaining high service standards in a dynamic hospitality environment.

About You

You are capable of working independently, with a solid technical background and hands-on experience with complex building systems in a fast-paced setting. Key qualities include:

• Executing maintenance tasks per procedures, operating mechanical plant rooms, ETS, and utility readings.
• Diploma or trade certification in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of facilities maintenance or technical trade experience, preferably in hospitality or large-scale environments.
• Expertise with large HVAC systems, especially ETS and AHUs.
• Training or certification in BMS, especially Siemens systems, is advantageous.
• Knowledge of PPM programs and safety practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across trades.
