Job description

We are hiring a skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our IT or product support team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance to clients or internal users, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure customer satisfaction through professional support services.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide first and second-level technical support via phone, email, or remote tools.
  2. Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, or application-related issues.
  3. Log, track, and document support cases in the ticketing system.
  4. Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate teams while ensuring timely resolution.
  5. Assist with software installations, configurations, and updates.
  6. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to resolve complex technical problems.
  7. Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
  8. Conduct training sessions and product demonstrations for end users.
  9. Monitor system performance and suggest improvements.
  10. Stay updated on new technologies and internal product updates.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  2. Minimum 2-4 years of experience in technical support or IT helpdesk roles.
  3. Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux/Mac).
  4. Familiarity with networking, servers, databases, and cloud environments is a plus.
  5. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  6. Proficiency in ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
