What you’ll achieve

As a Technical Staff, Platform Architect, you will have the opportunity to participate in the development of next-generation large-scale AI Infrastructure, including accelerated compute, AI fabrics, and AI-optimized storage. You will engage with high-profile AI customers to optimize solutions for their applications and tune the system for maximum performance. You will be responsible for driving innovation at the datacenter level with liquid cooling technologies and power density. You will develop long-term technology strategies based on technical and business information, incorporating insights from industry, marketing, development, manufacturing, procurement, and customer input.

You will :

1. Participate in internal and industry forums where appropriate and act as a point of escalation for critical development issues.
2. Take the lead in shaping future products and provide expertise on multiple technologies/products.
3. Be responsible for owning multiple technologies or highly complex technologies.
4. Lead strategic technical forums and meetings on a regular schedule, and contribute to development and systems engineering when working on tactical/time-to-market issues.

• 12+ years of professional experience with AI Compute and Storage platforms, along with accelerator ecosystem experience from both hardware and software perspectives, with a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Solid understanding and knowledge of AI compute design, network architecture, and storage, including the ability to develop automation scripts for validation, configuration, and benchmarking.
• Ability to develop long-term technical relationships with vendors for core technologies or solutions, creating a technical interface, and driving requirements into next-generation vendor designs. This includes maintaining a database of multi-year vendor/partner roadmaps with detailed feature trade-offs and hosting regular technology reviews to ensure alignment with Dell’s business objectives.
• Experience in identifying, developing, and communicating differentiation opportunities, providing technical information, and making recommendations to marketing, procurement, engineering, customers, and business executives.
• Ability to understand competitive and business needs while developing technical solutions, including traveling to assess customer requirements and develop blueprints based on geographical areas.
• Advanced degrees or technical certifications.
