Job Purpose
To develop, manage, and monitor the aircraft structures for Air Arabia and third-party aircraft, focusing on reliability, maintenance, modifications, and ensuring airworthiness and compliance with aviation authorities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support engineering maintenance activities including data collection, performance review, analysis, reporting, and modifications.
  2. Coordinate with OEMs and regulatory bodies on modifications and projects.
  3. Conduct root-cause analysis and troubleshoot aircraft efficiency and maintenance issues.
  4. Analyze technical reports to predict component life cycles, identify trends, and suggest modifications.
  5. Identify corrective actions and modifications, prepare justifications and supporting documents.
  6. Review technical documents, evaluate services, and draft engineering orders for modifications and repairs.
  7. Collaborate with stakeholders on projects, contracts, and feasibility studies.
  8. Assist in developing procedures, standards, and operational standards for CAMO.

Maintain a comprehensive database of aircraft defects, repairs, drawings, and configuration changes. Support MROs and participate in meetings and audits.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aircraft Engineering, Aeronautical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; higher diploma or certificates with experience are also considered.
  • Proficiency in CAD drawing is advantageous.
  • Additional certifications in project management, compliance, budgeting, and quality assurance are beneficial.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, MRO systems, and web tools.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Work Experience
  • Minimum 5 years in the aviation industry, including experience with Airbus A320 is preferred.
  • Knowledge of aircraft airworthiness programs and regulations such as CAMO, EASA, and Civil Aviation Authorities.
  • Understanding of aircraft maintenance systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience in quality assurance, safety, and audit processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a cost-oriented approach.
