Job summary

Aman is seeking a Technical Services Coordinator MEA to join our Dubai office. You will support the design and technical services team to ensure Aman’s standards are delivered through high-quality design solutions for luxury projects.

The role requires a design or architecture degree and at least two years of professional experience in architectural/interior design or design coordination, with emphasis on luxury hotel projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in design or architecture required.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience as architectural/interior designer or design coordinator.
• Experience with luxury hotel and resort project delivery.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages desirable.

Responsibilities

• Attend project coordination workshops and ensure brand standards.
• Review design consultant drawings and specifications.
• Develop and track project schedules.
• Follow up on post-site visit action items.
• Communicate project status accurately and regularly to the Director.
• Provide projections for all design aspects and program delivery.
• Collaborate with team members, corporate teams, and external project teams to manage information flows.
• Track Aman Standards schedules, lists, and briefs; archive all digital communications.
• Produce meeting minutes, presentations, and reports.

Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Technical Services Coordinator MEA to join our team, reporting to the Director of Design & Technical Services based in our Dubai Office. This role plays a key part in managing the quality of the development and design process, ensuring Aman’s standards and brand objectives are delivered through thoughtful, high‑quality design solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Attend project coordination workshops, ensure adherence to brand standards, and assist design and engineering consultant teams to develop the approved project design through to the working drawings
• Assist in reviewing design consultant submitted drawings and specifications
• Develop and track project schedules
• Assist in following up on post site visit action items
• Accurately communicate projects status.
• Update the Director of Design & Technical Services on a regular basis and provide projections for all design aspects and program delivery
• Collaborate with team members, corporate teams, and external project teams to manage information flows and data exchange.
• Track project and Aman Standards schedules, lists & briefs, ensuring archiving of all digital communications and documents.
• Produce meeting minutes, presentations, and reports.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in design or architecture is required Minimum 2 years of professional experience as an architectural or interior designer, design coordinator or in a related role
• Familiarity with aspects of luxury hotel and resort project delivery. (Technical Services background with hotel operator preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in written and spoken English, additional languages desirable
• Strong work ethic, ability to work independently and cultural sensitivity
• Proficiency in MS Office, knowledge of Bluebeam Revu desirable Strong organizational abilities to multitask and prioritize daily workload efficiently
