Job Description

POSITION OBJECTIVE

Technical Sales Engineer – Facilities support division team that is focused primarily in brownfield market. Will be concentrating on consolidating the existing customer base and at the same time developing new customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential clients and opportunities.
  2. Conduct site visits and technical assessments to better understand enquiry/project requirements.
  3. Assist sales support team in preparing and delivering sales proposals within the stipulated time frame.
  4. Understand client needs and recommend tailored solutions that align with their goals and technical requirements.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster trust and repeat business.
  6. Provide ongoing support during the sales process to address any technical or commercial concerns.
  7. Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure smooth handovers from sales to execution.
  8. Provide feedback to internal teams on client needs and market trends to refine offerings.

Desired Candidate Profile

Basic Qualification/Education/Vocational Training:

  1. Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, services, or solutions.
  2. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  3. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate technical details into business benefits.
  4. Fluent language skills in English.
  5. Bachelor’s degree in engineering in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechatronics (preferably electrical) or a related field.
  6. Experience in designing technical solutions and advising customers on electrical solutions.
  7. Minimum 2-4 years of experience in sales of LV switchgear, services, and solutions in the UAE market (preferably in a technical industry).
  8. Proven track record of achieving sales in services sector within the UAE market will be of advantage.
  9. Determined, results driven, strong sales drive, and a team player.
  10. UAE driving license is a must.

  1. Technical Skills:
  2. Industry Knowledge (LV Switchgear, Electrical services, contracting services, standards, regulations, and best practices in the electrical industry).
  3. Technical Problem solving (Understanding drawings, specifications, and proposals).
