About Us

MAT Filtration Technologies was established to provide the highest possible efficiency equipment and services on water filtration technology. MAT was founded in 2012 in Izmir, Turkey, by fish husbandry industry experts. Our expertise in animal husbandry spans over 35 years, which informs our understanding of animal behavior and the operational needs to run a facility properly. We design, test, and verify equipment performance for ease of operation at our marine fish quarantine facility in Izmir. We are capable of delivering on demanding projects globally, and we have developed into a design, manufacturing, and contracting leader in the field of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) and specialty filtration technologies. We currently employ over 300 highly-skilled staff of multiple nationalities.

We are looking for a highly motivated and technically skilled Technical Sales Engineer with expertise in water filtration and water treatment systems. The ideal candidate will drive business growth by developing customer relationships, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and providing solutions that meet client requirements. This role combines technical knowledge with strong sales and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage potential clients in target markets, understanding their needs and providing tailored water filtration solutions.
  • Prepare, review, and present technical and financial proposals to clients and internal managers.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to ensure proposals are accurate and feasible.
  • Maintain and update a comprehensive database of pricing, products, and proposals.
  • Conduct site visits and client meetings to assess project requirements and deliver optimal solutions.
  • Support the sales process with technical expertise, explaining system capabilities, performance, and benefits.
  • Negotiate project agreements, ensuring alignment with company policies and client expectations.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitors, and trade fairs to identify new business opportunities and innovations in water treatment technology.
  • Assist in the preparation of marketing materials and product demonstrations for trade shows or client presentations.
  • Provide technical input for non-conforming product evaluations and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of proposals, client interactions, and project outcomes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support sales and business development goals.

  • Proven experience in technical sales, proposal preparation, or project coordination.
