About the job :

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee and guide development efforts on a project. This role involves working with developers, product managers, and the CTO to drive project success and steer development efforts while being hands-on wherever needed.

Strong understanding of Node.js development and a proven track record of successful product launches are essential. Additionally, the role involves adapting to a modular development pattern and building on top of the Holepunch peer-to-peer stack for our projects. Prior experience with peer-to-peer stacks is a plus.

Responsibilities :

1. Lead, oversee, and plan day-to-day development activities.
2. Collaborate with developers, product, and leadership teams to ensure smooth project execution.
3. Guide the full software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment.
4. Provide guidance and resolve technical issues when required.
5. Ensure timely delivery according to project timelines.
6. Drive improvements in processes and practices.
7. Communicate progress, risks, and solutions to stakeholders.

Requirements :

1. 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing multiple projects.
2. 2+ years of experience in software development (Node.js).
3. Basic understanding of peer-to-peer systems is essential.
4. Basic experience with Python, C++, and Rust is good to have.
5. Proven experience launching successful products.
6. Strong understanding of system architecture, microservices, and good development practices.
7. Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams.
8. Experience in handling developers of varying experience levels.
9. Experience with modern dev practices: CI/CD, automated testing, agile.
