ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are hiring a (Technical) Project Manager to oversee and drive our custom joinery and tailored furniture projects through all phases: from initial concept to successful delivery. This role involves close coordination with clients, architects, designers, and contractors to ensure seamless execution that meets our company’s elevated quality standards, within the set timelines and budgets.

We are Al Anamil Design & Artwork, a high-end joinery and bespoke furniture company based in the UAE. We transform spaces with custom-made loose furniture, walk-wardrobes, doors, wall cladding, statement pieces, and functional art: all crafted in-house with precision, care, and refined finishes.

We don’t just build furniture; we create timeless pieces that speak of craftsmanship and elegance. As we are expanding rapidly, we’re looking for passionate professionals to be part of our journey.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar project management role
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in managing teams, showing leadership skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Coordination & Planning:

  • Define scope, deliverables, and project goals.
  • Conduct site assessments and analyze technical requirements.
  • Plan resources, budgets, and schedules.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Monitor progress and lead internal project meetings.

Design & Technical Oversight:

  • Review and approve design concepts, CAD drawings, and specifications.
  • Supervise 3D renderings, presentations, and design approvals.
  • Ensure execution of joinery and furniture works per architectural specs.
  • Maintain high finish standards and quality controls.
  • Oversee procurement of materials.

Site Supervision & Execution:

  • Oversee manufacturing, assembly, and installation.
  • Work closely with production and carpentry teams to ensure flawless delivery.
  • Ensure site operations meet safety and quality standards.
  • Solve challenges as they arise during manufacturing or installation.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Identify and address project risks proactively.
  • Uphold compliance with local U.A.E. laws and industry norms.
  • Enforce safety regulations and quality standards.

Team Leadership & Communication

  • Lead internal teams including carpenters, designers, and (sub)contractors.
  • Allocate responsibilities and track team performance.
  • Provide mentorship and supervision to junior staff.
  • Organize regular progress meetings and feedback sessions.

Financial Oversight & Reporting

  • Track spending and ensure projects remain within financial limits.
  • Manage changes in scope and issue updated project costing.
  • Deliver project reports and updates to leadership.

This role requires someone who can manage complex, custom-built projects with a practical mindset and technical confidence. You should bring a background in project management from the joinery or fit-out industry, and a strong sense of responsibility in meeting deadlines, budgets, and expectations. A detail-oriented, hands-on approach and commitment to delivering quality at every stage are essential for success.
