Job summary

A leading technology solutions provider in Dubai is seeking a Technical Project Manager to manage and execute various design and consultancy projects. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in the residential systems integration industry, particularly in audio/video systems. This role demands strong project management skills and leadership capabilities, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.

Qualifications

  • 5 years or more experience within the residential systems integration industry.
  • Field and theoretical experience in Home technology & Home Cinema.
  • Experience in leading teams of up to 10 members.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute tasks and projects assigned by the Director of Quality & Technical Excellence.
  • Perform periodical reviews/audits of operations and running projects.
  • Track and report progress to relevant stakeholders.

Job description

Division / Department : Technical Operations Division

Reports to : Global Director of Quality & Technical Excellence

Job Summary :

The Technical Project Manager is main responsibility is to manage and execute tasks and projects assigned to them by the Director of Quality & Technical Excellence. The tasks will relate to design and consultancy projects, Field work, and Sales. This will include project supervision, standard audits, systems commissioning and calibration, and on / off site coordination.

  • Follow up on tasks and projects assigned by the Director of Quality & Technical Excellence
  • Constant research and learning in the field
  • Support dealers with technical know-how and site supervision
  • Coordination with project teams setting up and executing projects
  • Setup and configure different systems ranging from Network to Audio Distribution to Control
  • Assist project managers regarding design and documentation issues
  • Perform periodical reviews / audits, of operations and running projects
  • Perform Audio and Video Calibration of high-performance entertainment spaces
  • Track and report progress to relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure proper documentation of all tasks and issues

Education Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Work Experience Requirements :

  • Audio / Video related experience (pro and residential)

Required Credentials, Certifications and Qualifications

Required Experience

  • 5 years or more experience within the residential systems integration industry

Required Technical and Job Knowledge

  • Field and theoretical experience in Home technology & Home Cinema
  • Experience in light control
  • Experience in leading teams of up to 10 members
  • Experience in simple home networks configuration
  • Experience in Project Management. PMP Certification is a plus
  • Experience with musical instruments and / or music production is a plus
