Job Description

Support the Head of Enterprise Technology in handling the planning, execution, coordination and delivery of technology projects within the Enterprise Technology department. Take on end to end responsibility of the implementation of business-critical applications. Assure successful delivery of projects in hand.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning & Leadership: Contribute to Enterprise applications strategy. Oversee all projects & ensure smooth coordination to achieve enterprise objectives. Manage portfolio of projects, balancing resources and priorities to optimize projects outcome.

2. Incident & Problem Management: Address applications gaps / problems quickly and efficiently. Ability to spot future bottlenecks. Ensure issues are resolved within agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs).

3. Advanced Stakeholder Management: Handle executive-level reporting & updates. Communicate clearly on projects risks & opportunities. Facilitate clear and effective communication among project teams, ensuring everyone is aligned on project goals and tasks.

4. Technical & Functional Expertise: Possess deep knowledge of enterprise applications and their functional areas, providing expert guidance and support. Provide high-level technical oversight and direction. Ensuring that technical solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. Assist in quality assurance activities, including testing, validation, and documentation of project deliverables. Able to assure that solutions meet business requirements.

5. Security & Compliance: Oversee security measures to protect organizational data and ensure the integrity of enterprise applications. Lead efforts to ensure that all projects’ activities comply with organizational policies, procedures, and best practices.

6. Advanced Documentation & Reporting: Create & Maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and action items. Ensure that all project documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant team members. Skilled in creating executive summaries & updates.

7. End User Training & Communication ability: Facilitate clear and effective communication among project teams.

8. Digital Transformation & Innovation Leadership: Support Shurooq’s digital transformation in alignment with strategic goals. Integrate AI, data analytics, and modern technologies to improve operations and service delivery.

9. Web Development & Enterprise Portals: Oversee the design and development of enterprise web platforms. Ensure responsive design, strong backend architecture, SEO compliance, and continuous enhancement.

10. Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Implement tools to monitor speed, uptime, and user behavior. Optimize loading times, mobile performance, and user engagement.

11. SEO, Analytics & Digital Engagement: Manage SEO strategies and web analytics (GA4, Tag Manager, Hotjar). Use data insights to improve visibility, content strategies, and user experience.

12. Cloud Infrastructure & Migration: Lead successful migration of on-premises systems to cloud platforms, improving scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency. Ensured business continuity with minimal downtime during transitions.

13. Secure Access & Identity Integration: Implement UAE Pass and secure authentication protocols across platforms to enhance user trust, streamline access, and comply with government digital identity frameworks.

14. Multi-Platform & Framework Expertise: Deliver solutions using Laravel, ASP. NET, CodeIgniter, WordPress, and custom CMS platforms. Selected the most suitable tech stack per project to balance scalability, security, and time-to-market.

15. In-house development & Custom Solutions: Oversee the in-house development team and contribute to it. Ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure applications that enhance internal processes and stakeholder engagement.

- Proficiency in project management tools and software.

- Ability to create various projects documents (Project Charter, timeline, Scope, Budget, etc)

- Minimum six years of experience, in a project related role in IT
