Technical Product Owner - Digital

This role focuses on managing customer-facing digital products within the Passenger Sales and Airline Products division, particularly related to Dubai Experience and vendor-led solutions, including RFI/RFT-driven initiatives. The TPO acts as a key liaison between stakeholders, vendors, and engineering teams, managing product lifecycles and integrating third-party land-based services such as hotels, transfers, and activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in vendor relationship management, agile product delivery, and non-airline travel products. The role requires high collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors, with a focus on driving product strategy and delivering value.

In This Role, You Will

• Manage story content, acceptance criteria, and sign-off processes, ensuring readiness for future Program Increments (PI), frequent refinement, and backlog prioritization.
• Capture, refine, and prioritize Technical Debt and Non-functional requirements across sprints.
• Incorporate BAU, Ceremony, and Spike activities into team backlogs within capacity constraints.
• Contribute to PI demos alongside other Product Owners.
• Maintain feature quality and integrity, identifying risks and dependencies for the Product Portfolio backlog.
• Participate in key Product Management meetings, especially PI Planning.
• Define metrics to measure success and performance, informing future iterations.
• Foster a community of Product Owners, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to evolving Product Management practices and drive team innovation ideas.

Qualifications & Experience

Ideal candidates will have:

• A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Operations Research, Marketing Science, Information Systems, e-Commerce, or related fields, with 5+ years of relevant experience and industry certifications like CSPO, SAFe, or PSPO.
• At least 2 years of practical experience as a Product Owner/Manager, with a proven track record of driving change and delivery.
• Experience working within a Scaled Agile Framework across multiple initiatives and teams is advantageous.
• Technical or domain expertise with up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and technical changes affecting Emirates.
• Proficiency with Product Management tools and strong communication skills across all levels.
• Ability to build relationships and a customer-centric mindset focused on value creation.
