Job summary

Etihad Airways seeks a senior professional to manage and enhance technology products within the Guest Experience domain. You will back a prioritized backlog and drive RTL deployments, bridging airline ops with IT execution.

The role requires 5+ years in aviation/guest experience, strong stakeholder management, and proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Power BI, and Smartsheet. A global, regulated environment is expected, with emphasis on governance and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in the aviation industry or guest experience field.
• Experience with IT governance, change management, and regulatory environments.
• Understanding of cloud technologies, APIs, and modern enterprise architectures.
• Proficiency with delivery tools: JIRA, Confluence, Power BI, Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

• Own planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of technology projects across Guest Experience, including contact centre, complaints management, and guest communication.
• Translate operational requirements into technical solutions with architects, developers, and vendors.
• Manage scope, dependencies, risks, and delivery to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery while maintaining continuity.
• Ensure changes comply with governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as liaison between technical teams and stakeholders across Guest Experience.
• Prepare and present change records, release plans, and deployment readiness assessments at CAB meetings.
• Provide regular updates, budget reports, risk assessments, and executive status reports.
• Manage deployments through RTL and related environment management frameworks.
• Support change, incident, and release management using ITSM/ITIL best practices.
