As Technical Product Manager - Financial Planning and Analysis, you will support the delivery of technology products and solutions, ensuring all features align with the product's vision and roadmap. Lead a team of Technical Product Owners (TPOs) to understand, assess, and decompose prioritized initiatives into technical features within engineering backlogs, focusing on MVP (Minimum Viable Product).

The ideal candidate should be a product expert with experience in the Financial Planning & Analysis domain and exposure to Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems such as Anaplan, Board, Oracle Hyperion, or other industry solutions. Certifications or experience with widely used EPM products are advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with TPOs, vendors, and other IT stakeholders to deliver Program Increment Planning (PIs), utilizing business value assessments and capacity evaluations to prioritize backlogs.
• Lead and develop TPOs through collaboration, delegation, and empowerment for effective delivery of technology solutions.
• Work with architecture, engineering, and service management teams to ensure backlogs are balanced, scalable, and meet business needs, considering technical debt, NFRs, and system enablers.
• Participate in sprint demos and system demos, and assist in the preparation of visual release notes, driving increased adoption of technology products.
• Ensure the quality and integrity of data in the Product Catalogue, defining methodologies for analyzing target metrics and post-PI value assessments.
• Develop and mentor TPOs, supporting their professional growth and contributing to the peer community for learning and development.
• Maintain data quality in the Product Catalogue, identify risks and dependencies, and ensure team backlogs reflect impacts.
• Manage partnerships with product vendors to ensure timely upgrades, maximize product efficiency, and influence business process changes to optimize vendor solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant domain, with certifications in SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) or Agile Product Management (APM).
• 8+ years of total experience, including 3-5 years as a Technical Product Manager or Product Owner.
• Proficiency with tools for technical software delivery aspects.
• Strong communication skills across all levels and experience in coaching and mentoring teams.
• Technical or domain expertise with practical experience in relevant areas.
