Emirates Group IT thrives on the dynamic nature of technology. Being pioneers in aviation innovation, we're always at the forefront, pushing boundaries. We're on the lookout for exceptional IT professionals to fortify our position as leaders in the industry. Embark on a journey with the world's largest international airline and become a vital part of our cutting-edge information and technology team as Technical Product Manager - Financial Planning and Analysis.

As Technical Product Manager - Financial Planning and Analysis, you will support the delivery of technology products and solutions and ensure the effectiveness of all technology features aligned to the Product's vision and roadmap. Lead a team of Technical Product Owners (TPO) to understand, assess, and decompose prioritised initiatives into Technical Features within engineering team backlogs, focusing on MVP (Minimum Viable Product).

The ideal candidate should be a product expert who has worked in the Financial Planning & Analysis domain and exposure of Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems (like Anaplan / Board / Oracle Hyperion or other industry solutions). Any certifications or experience in widely used EPM products in industry would be an advantage.

In this role, you will:
  • Collaborate with TPOs (technical product owners), peer groups, vendors, and other IT stakeholder groups to deliver ongoing and future Program Increment Planning (PIs), utilizing business value, assessment of available capacity, and effectively sequencing and prioritizing backlogs.
  • Lead a team of TPOs through collaboration, delegation, and empowerment to ensure effective delivery of our technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and service management teams to ensure the overall backlogs are balanced to provide a scalable, user experience-optimized, stable, and performant technology product that continually meets business needs. Ensure Technical Debt, NFRs (Non-Functional Requirements), and System enablers are considered, captured, and cascaded to team backlogs.
  • Participate in Sprint demos at the team level and assist in the preparation of system demos and other varied levels of involvement across a suite of Demos and Visual Release Notes at the team level. Engage in the preparation and delivery of PI demos to the stakeholder group via Inspect & Adapt workshops with the overall goal of driving increased use and adoption.
  • Responsible for the quality and integrity of the data held in the Product Catalogue for your specific Product/s. Define a methodology for analysing and responding to target metrics and value post PI delivery, aiming to drive increased use and adoption of our technology products.
  • Develop and mentor TPOs, supporting their professional development. Contribute to the TPM peer community in identifying and acting upon opportunities for Learning and Development, growth, and advancement.
  • Maintain the quality and integrity of the data held in the Product catalogue and features within the technical and team boundaries, ensure the identification and contribution of risks and dependencies and ensure appropriate team backlogs reflect any impact.
  • Drive the partnership with applicable product vendors, ensuring timely feature/product upgrades, and maximising the product's efficiency and effectiveness. Minimise bespoke customisation and influence business process changes to best utilize vendor-supplied products.
