As Technical Product Manager - dnata Travel, you will support the delivery of technology products and solutions and ensure the effectiveness of all technology features aligned to the Product's vision and roadmap. You will lead a team of Technical Product Owners (TPO) to understand, assess, and decompose prioritised initiatives into Technical Features within engineering team backlogs, focusing on MVP (Minimum Viable Product).
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with TPOs (technical product owners), peer groups, vendors, and other IT stakeholder groups to deliver ongoing and future Program Increment Planning (PIs), utilising business value, assessing available capacity, and effectively sequencing and prioritising backlogs.
- Lead a team of TPOs through collaboration, delegation, and empowerment to ensure effective delivery of our technology solutions.
- Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and service management teams to ensure the overall backlogs are balanced to provide a scalable, user experience-optimized, stable, and performant technology product that continually meets business needs. Ensure Technical Debt, NFRs (Non-Functional Requirements), and System enablers are considered, captured, and cascaded to team backlogs.
- Participate in Sprint demos at the team level and assist in the preparation of system demos and other varied levels of involvement across a suite of Demos and Visual Release Notes at the team level. Engage in the preparation and delivery of PI demos to the stakeholder group via Inspect & Adapt workshops with the overall goal of driving increased use and adoption.
- Be responsible for the quality and integrity of the data held in the Product Catalogue for your specific Product(s). Define a methodology for analysing and responding to target metrics and value post PI delivery, aiming to drive increased use and adoption of our technology products.
- Develop and mentor TPOs, supporting their professional development. Contribute to the TPM peer community in identifying and acting upon opportunities for learning, development, growth, and advancement.
- Maintain the quality and integrity of the data held in the Product Catalogue and features within the technical and team boundaries. Ensure the identification and contribution of risks and dependencies, and that appropriate team backlogs reflect any impact.
- Drive partnerships with applicable product vendors, ensuring timely feature/product upgrades, and maximising the product's efficiency and effectiveness. Minimise bespoke customisation and influence business process changes to best utilise vendor-supplied products.

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Degree in a relevant domain, qualified in SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) or Agile Product Management (APM).
- 8+ years of total experience, with 3-5 years of practical experience working as a Technical Product Manager or Product Owner.
- Knowledge/skills:
- Well-versed in tools for the technical product aspects of software delivery.
- Strong communication skills at peer, line, and stakeholder levels, with proven experience in developing (including coaching and mentoring) direct and indirect reports.
- Demonstrated technical or domain expertise, utilising a depth and breadth of knowledge and practical experience within specific domains or technical areas.
- Demonstrated evidence of knowledge in the technical area and its application.
