About the Role :

We are seeking a dynamic Technical Presales Specialist to support our sales and business development teams in driving product and service adoption. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate customer requirements into tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Solutioning & Technical Consultation : Work closely with sales teams to understand client requirements and propose suitable IT products and services.
  • Product Demonstrations & Presentations : Conduct compelling product demos, PoCs (Proof of Concepts), and technical presentations for potential clients.
  • Proposal & RFP / RFI Responses : Develop detailed technical proposals, whitepapers, and responses to RFPs / RFIs to articulate value propositions effectively.
  • Customer Engagement & Requirement Gathering : Engage with customers to analyze their pain points, suggest the right solutions, and provide consultative sales support.
  • Collaboration with Product & Delivery Teams : Act as a bridge between sales, product management, and engineering teams to align offerings with market needs.
  • Competitive Analysis & Market Insights : Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to refine pre-sales strategies.
  • Solution Architecture & Technical Feasibility : Assist in defining solution architectures, integrations, and implementation roadmaps for IT products and services.
  • Conduct Workshops & Training : Educate clients and internal teams on product capabilities, new features, and best practices.
  • Build Strong Client Relationships : Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring technical alignment throughout the sales cycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Experience : 7 to 15 years in Pre-Sales, Solution Engineering, or Technical Consulting roles within an IT company (product and services-based).
  • Technical Expertise : Strong understanding of Software products, IT services, Cloud computing, APIs, Microservices, Integration solutions, Data practice or Data management, and Enterprise architectures.
  • Communication & Presentation Skills : Ability to present complex solutions in a simplified manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proposal Writing & Documentation : Experience in preparing technical proposals, SoWs (Statements of Work), and RFP / RFI responses.
  • Industry Knowledge : Exposure to Digital transformation, SaaS, API-led solutions, System integration, or Enterprise IT solutions is a plus.
  • Certifications (Preferred) : Relevant IT certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, PMP) are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Emerging Technologies : Familiarity with Gen AI, automation, and enterprise digital solutions.
