Job summary

Carry out all activities of the Director General’s Office, ensuring confidentiality of information and documentation; coordinate and manage meetings participated in by the Director General’s Office; follow up on the implementation of directives and decisions issued by the Office.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Administrative Sciences/Public Relations, or a similar area of specialization.

Experience

Bachelor’s degree, with 1 to 4 years’ experience in the same field.

Specialized-General Responsibilities

  • Organize the Director General’s official meetings, visits and missions in coordination with the relevant internal departments and external entities.
  • Communicate regularly with relevant entities regarding logistical arrangements for all of the Director General’s appointments, ensuring the prevention of any organizational oversight.
  • Implement the Director General’s directives.
  • Track, classify and summarize all inputs received by the Office.
  • Follow up on the implementation of the Director General’s verbal and written directives with all relevant entities.
  • Prepare internal and external memos as per instructions.
  • Request financial advances and expense schedules related to the Director General’s Office.
  • Coordinate with various entities and organizations on issues of a special nature.
  • Maintain an inventory of the Director General’s (received) gifts.
  • Prepare all of the Director General’s communications.
  • Receive and sort the Director General’s mail based on areas of relevance.
  • Archive incoming and outgoing correspondence related to the Director General.
  • Maintain documents and records related to the Director General’s Office.
  • Carry out any additional tasks commissioned by the line manager.
