Job summary

Archirodon Group N.V. in UAE seeks a Technical Office Engineer (Test Packages) to develop and review piping test packs for ADNOC projects. You will coordinate with construction and QA/QC to ensure readiness for pressure testing and smooth turnover to completion teams.

The role requires 4–6 years in piping pressure testing, knowledge of ASME B31.3, NDT, and the ability to read P&IDs and isometrics. English fluency is essential, with strong multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven piping pressure testing methodologies and system turnover procedures.
• Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3 and hydrotesting procedures.
• Experience with QA/QC, NDT, and inspection requirements.
• Co-console familiarity is desirable.
• Ability to read P&IDs and isometric drawings.
• Excellent coordination across multiple disciplines.
• Experience on large oil & gas projects in the Middle East.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed piping test packs using approved P&IDs, Isometrics, line lists, and ADNOC specs.
• Review drawings, test packages, and specs for readiness of pressure testing.
• Coordinate with construction to confirm piping systems are installed and test-ready.
• Ensure welding, NDT, and inspection activities are completed before testing.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections and archive test packages.
• Manage master test package tracking from development to sign-off.
• Submit complete test package with charts, calibration records, and sheets.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and safe execution of activities.
• Support Mechanical Completion certification processes.
• Address technical queries and site challenges related to tests.

Job Description

• Develop detailed piping test packs using approved P&IDs, Isometrics, line lists, and project documentation & ADNOC specifications
• Review piping drawings, test packages and specifications to ensure readiness for pressure testing
• Coordinate with construction team to confirm piping systems are installed and ready for testing
• Ensure all welding, non-destructive testing (NDT), and inspection activities are completed prior to testing
• Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspection approvals, properly archive and update the test packages accordingly
• Ensure punch closure prior to handover to completion team
• Manage and update master test package tracking registers to provide clear visibility on testing progress from initial development till final sign-off
• Submit complete test package including certified pressure charts, calibration records and inspection sheets
• Ensure compliance with project & ADNOC 100% HSE policies and safe execution of all activities
• Support Mechanical Completion certification processes
• Address and resolve technical queries and site execution challenges related to test limits, piping components, and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven track record in piping pressure testing methodologies, test boundary isolation, and system turnover procedures
• Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards such as ASME B31.3 and hydrotesting procedures
• Experience working with QA/QC processes, non-destructive testing methods (NDT), and inspection requirements, completion handovers
• Familiarity with completion software such as Co-console is desirable
• Expertise in reading and interpreting P&IDs, isometric drawings, and engineering documentation
• Strong coordination and communication skills with the ability to interface across multiple disciplines
• Experience working on large-scale oil & gas projects, preferably in the Middle East and with major operators or EPC contractors
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written) is essential.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
