Job summary

Archirodon Group N.V. in Abu Dhabi is seeking a seasoned Technical Office/Structural Engineer to lead review of drawings, submittals, and technical documents for EPC/Oil & Gas projects.

You will coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, Procurement and Planning to resolve complex structural issues and ensure compliance with ADNOC standards. The ideal candidate has a Civil/Structural Engineering degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience, with AutoCAD proficiency and strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Technical Office / Structural Engineering.
• Experience in EPC / Oil & Gas / Construction projects; ADNOC experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel, concrete foundations, drawings, RFIs, and technical submittals.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
• Strong technical coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, specifications and engineering documents for construction activities.
• Prepare and review technical submittals, method statements, RFIs and other technical documents.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, Procurement, Planning and Survey teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure works comply with ADNOC standards, project specs, approved drawings and international codes.
• Review shop drawings and fabrication drawings; coordinate with subcontractors and fabricators.
• Attend technical coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Assist in project handover dossiers and as-built drawings.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret structural drawings shop drawings specifications design calculations and engineering documents for construction activities.


• Prepare and review technical submittals method statements material submittals RFIs Technical Queries (TQs) and other technical documents.


• Coordinate with Engineering Construction QA/QC Procurement Planning and Survey teams to resolve structural and technical issues.


• Ensure structural works comply with ADNOC standards project specifications approved drawings applicable international codes and project requirements.


• Review structural steel reinforced concrete foundations equipment foundations platforms supports and related structural works.


• Monitor engineering revisions and ensure the latest approved drawings and documents are available for construction.


• Provide technical support during structural steel fabrication and erection concrete works foundations grouting installation and related construction activities.


• Review Material Take-Offs (MTOs) Bills of Quantities (BOQs) material specifications and technical requirements and support procurement activities.


• Review shop drawings and fabrication drawings and coordinate with subcontractors and fabricators to ensure compliance with approved designs.


• Participate in constructability reviews and provide practical technical solutions to support efficient project execution.


• Coordinate with the Document Control team to maintain accurate engineering records drawings revisions and technical documentation.


• Assist in preparing and reviewing as-built drawings final documentation and project handover dossiers.


• Attend technical coordination meetings with clients consultants subcontractors and other stakeholders as required.


• Support the Construction and QA/QC teams in resolving site technical issues non-conformances and design-related queries.
