Job summary

Duncan & Ross Consulting is seeking Technical Office Engineers (Civil) with UAE-based EPC Oil & Gas experience to support a site-based project in Ruwais. The candidate will manage technical office and civil activities including document review, MTO, shop drawings and coordination.

The ideal candidate should have strong ADNOC project exposure, 5+ years in UAE EPC environments, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel. Coordination with site teams and documentation control are key responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of EPC Oil & Gas experience in UAE.
  • Strong ADNOC project experience is mandatory.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and submit shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical submittals in line with project requirements.
  • Perform quantity take-off (QTO) and assist in cost estimation and variation orders.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, consultants, and clients to resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure all civil works comply with ADNOC standards, project specifications, and IFC drawings.
  • Prepare method statements, material submittals, and technical documentation.
  • Monitor project progress and support the planning team with technical inputs.
  • Maintain proper documentation control and ensure all revisions are updated.
  • Assist in preparation of progress reports, RFIs, and technical correspondences.
  • Support procurement team with technical evaluation of materials and subcontractor submissions.
  • Ensure timely resolution of design clashes and site coordination issues.
  • Review project documents and prepare MTOs.
  • Coordinate technical office activities with site-based teams.

Job description

We are seeking Technical Office Engineers (Civil) with relevant experience in UAE-based EPC Oil & Gas projects to support a site-based project in Ruwais. KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in EPC Oil & Gas projects in the UAE.
  • Strong ADNOC project experience is mandatory.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Site-based experience in technical office and civil engineering activities.
  • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel, and engineering documentation systems.
  • Experience in shop drawings, QTO, MTO preparation, and technical office coordination.
  • Experience with vendor document reviews.
  • Strong understanding of civil construction methods, including earthworks, concrete, and infrastructure works.
  • Good understanding of ADNOC standards, project specifications, and IFC drawings.
