Job summary

A leading company in the UAE is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a major infrastructure project worth AED 650 million. The ideal candidate will have at least a decade of experience in civil engineering, proven success in the main contracting industry, and the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders. This role is based near Business Bay, requiring strong English communication skills and a commitment to project success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in the Main Contracting industry.
• Experience managing Civil Engineering & Infrastructure Projects worth AED 300 Million+.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the project is built to contractual specifications.
• Liaise with sub-contractors and manage workflow and communication.
• Maintain records of delays and manage design changes.

Job description

• Ensure that the project is built in line with the contractual specifications set
• Work closely alongside the Senior Project Manager to ensure that all technical aspects are achieved so that the site team can build
• Liaise with sub-contractors and problem solve issues when needed
• Manage the workflow and communication both upstream and down to ensure that key dates are hit
• Communicate clearly and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain accurate record keeping of delays and manage design changes if and when needed

About the Role

• Location : 10 minutes drive from Business Bay
• Project : AED 650 Million Infrastructure award involving concrete structures, utilities, earthworks, and access roads
• Ideal candidate : Experienced in UAE, with a track record in civil engineering and infrastructure projects
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Main Contracting industry on Civil Engineering & Infrastructure Projects worth AED 300 Million+
• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Able to start employment before 1st July
• Strong command of English (oral and written)
• Based in the UAE and available for face-to-face interviews
• Demonstrated loyalty, career progression, and success in CV
