Technical Landscape Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Landscape Architect to play a pivotal bridging role between design development, contract documentation and project site coordination. This position is central to ensuring the seamless translation of design intent into buildable, high-quality outcomes. The Technical Landscape Architect will be responsible for reviewing and coordinating technical landscape packages within the studio, providing quality assurance before issue to clients, and supporting project teams with on-site coordination.
What You9ll Be Doing
- Act as the primary link between design teams, contract documentation, and site execution, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all project stages.
- Lead the technical coordination of contract documents, including specifications, drawings, and schedules, to ensure clarity, compliance, and constructability.
- Review and provide quality assurance for technical landscape architecture packages before client submission, maintaining high standards of accuracy and presentation.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve technical queries and ensure smooth communication during construction.
- Support project managers and design leads in identifying and mitigating technical risks throughout project delivery.
- Ensure that design intent is fully captured and translated into documentation suitable for tender and construction.
- Conduct site visits to monitor works against contract documents, flagging discrepancies, and providing technical guidance.
- Stay updated with industry standards, codes, and best practices to ensure documentation and built works meet professional and regulatory benchmarks.
- Prepare and manage technical documentation for NOC submittals and approvals.
- Responsible and accountable for allocated tasks.
- Perform other related tasks as directed.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- An understanding of the design aesthetic and technical components of landscape architecture.
- An understanding of production techniques, procedures, and standards.
- An expert understanding of industry codes / standards / health and safety requirements and sustainability regulations.
- An expert understanding of the regional construction industry, local construction methods and their influence on design decisions.
- Demonstrate a team oriented and collaborative approach to Landscape Architecture within the design team.
- Technical skills and efficiencies in both standard and specialist computer programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and MS Office suite programs
- 8+ Years of continuous employment within the profession of Landscape Architecture.
- Fluency in English, verbal and written. Proficiency in other languages, especially Arabic, is highly regarded.

Qualifications
- Experience Required : At least 8+ Years of continuous employment within the profession of Landscape Architecture.
- Educational Degree : Bachelor of Landscape Architecture or Architecture
- Languages : Fluency in English, verbal and written. Proficiency in other languages, especially Arabic, is highly regarded.
- Professional Certification : Working towards CMLI / ASLA / ALIA
