Job summary

Black & Grey is recruiting a Technical/ Site Engineer for a leading interiors company in Dubai. The role requires coordinating site activities, managing installation teams, and ensuring delivery to quality, budget and timeline.

You will review drawings, liaise with clients and consultants, and monitor safety, quality and progress on site. A Civil Engineering degree and UAE driving licence are essential, with 10+ years UAE site experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of UAE site experience.
• Experience in interior decorative metal/glass/aluminium mandatory.
• 3–5 years in a Project Coordinator/Engineer/Manager role.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong AutoCAD and MS Office skills.
• Valid UAE Driving Licence.
• Strong site execution and installation knowledge.
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate across site and production teams.
• Decisive, independent worker with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the execution and installation of decorative metal and related interior works on site.
• Coordinate daily activities between site teams, production, and other project stakeholders.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and project requirements.
• Work closely with clients, architects, consultants, and engineers to resolve technical and site-related matters.
• Carry out regular site inspections and monitor workmanship, quality, and compliance with approved requirements.
• Track project progress and take necessary action to keep works aligned with agreed schedules.
• Plan manpower, allocate responsibilities, and delegate tasks effectively to site and production teams.
• Support the planning and delivery of decorative metal projects from execution through completion.
• Prepare site documentation, access passes, progress reports, and other project-related records.
• Assist with project billing and resolve relevant commercial or accounting matters.
• Identify and address site issues independently, escalating only where senior intervention is required.
• Guide and train installation teams to maintain required standards of safety, quality, and workmanship.
• Ensure projects are delivered within the agreed timeframe and budget.

Requirements
