Job description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Engineer with strong AutoCAD proficiency and excellent communication skills to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in technical engineering, preferably within the UAE, and will be responsible for designing, drafting, and overseeing engineering projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review detailed technical drawings, plans, and designs using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineers to ensure project accuracy.
• Conduct site inspections and surveys to gather necessary data for design and implementation.
• Ensure all engineering designs comply with UAE regulations and industry standards.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during project execution.
• Prepare project reports, BOQs (Bills of Quantities), and material specifications.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Assist in project planning, cost estimation, and timeline management.
• Stay updated with the latest engineering trends, software, and best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical engineering, preferably in Dubai/UAE.
• Expertise in AutoCAD (2D & 3D modeling is a plus).
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Knowledge of engineering standards, codes, and regulations in the UAE.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Revit, SolidWorks, or other CAD software.
• Familiarity with construction and MEP projects.
• Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling)
