Role Overview: As a Technical / Design Manager, you will oversee the design and technical aspects of building projects from conception to completion. Your responsibilities include ensuring quality, budget, and schedule adherence, and coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead design activities across various building projects (residential, commercial, institutional).
  • Review and validate architectural, structural, MEP, and specialist designs for compliance.
  • Develop and maintain project design schedules aligned with procurement and construction timelines.
  • Manage internal and external design teams.
  • Conduct design reviews and clash detection to ensure interdisciplinary integration.
  • Liaise with clients and authorities to secure approvals.
  • Provide technical input during tendering and construction, resolving design issues.
  • Monitor design changes, assess impacts, and manage related risks.
  • Ensure designs are buildable, cost-effective, and aligned with sustainability and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • At least 20 years of relevant experience in design management on building projects.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and interdisciplinary coordination.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM tools, and project management software.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
