Responsible for leading the delivery of cloud migration projects and ongoing managed cloud services for enterprise customers. This role combines deep technical knowledge of cloud platforms, program management, technical oversight, stakeholder coordination, and service delivery to ensure successful transitions to the cloud and efficient post-migration operations. You will work closely with cloud architects, engineering teams, operations, and clients to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of cloud migration projects (e.g., data center exit, application modernization, lift-and-shift).
• Oversee assessment, discovery, planning, and execution phases using migration frameworks and tools (Azure Migrate, AWS MGN, GCP Migrate, etc.).
• Ensure migration timelines, dependencies, and risks are tracked and mitigated proactively.
• Coordinate with cloud architects and technical leads to validate architecture, security, and performance designs.
• Manage the delivery of cloud operations, incident management, monitoring, and optimization services post-migration.
• Drive service excellence across SLAs, KPIs, uptime, cost management, and change management.
• Serve as the escalation point for operational issues and lead service improvement plans as needed.
• Oversee patching, backup, DR, and compliance monitoring processes for managed workloads.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders for project delivery and service performance.
• Work with cross-functional teams (cloud engineers, security, DevOps, support) to ensure delivery aligns with contractual and technical expectations.
• Prepare and present delivery status reports, risk registers, and operational dashboards.
• Ensure documentation, handovers, and knowledge transfers are well-executed.

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of IT experience, with 3-5 years focused on cloud architecture, migrations, cloud delivery or managed services leadership roles.
• Proven track record in managing cloud migration programs and post-migration managed services.
• Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP, including core IaaS / PaaS services, security, and cost optimization.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native and hybrid solutions, virtualization, storage, and networking.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
• Solid understanding of application architectures (monolith to microservices), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps pipelines.
• Cloud certifications preferred : AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile Delivery certifications a plus.

• Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.

Nice to Have :

• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud deployments.
• Exposure to regulated industries like BFSI, healthcare, or government cloud projects.
• Background in SaaS / PaaS migrations, DevOps-driven delivery, or cloud cost governance (FinOps).
• Familiarity with agile and DevOps methodologies.
