Job Description

• As an expert within a specific technical domain, you will support the Asset Management Support (AMS) department from Jan De Nul.
• Article creation in our Central Logistical System (CLS) which is our article master database.
• Managing our vessel’s technical library.
• Set-up of the vessel’s assets or components in our Computerized Maintenance Management System AMOS (CMMS).

Desired Candidate Profile

• Expertise in electric installations (1 FTE)
• Expertise in hydraulic installations (1 FTE)
• Expertise in auxiliary vessel equipment (1 FTE)

Candidate expertise within one of these technical domains is preferably marine oriented, and knowledge of marine legislation (IMO, ISM, Class regulation, Flag regulation) is considered an advantage.

You are highly proficient in spoken and written English.

You are able to analyze technical vessel or system documentation and interpret vessel technical drawings independently.

You have advanced computer skills and master or are willing to learn the following applications:

• Adobe Pdf-reader
• Central Logistic System

Employee must have electrical or programming knowledge (Python, VBA).
