Job summary

  • Understanding of security, logging, and monitoring concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical compliance assessments of iGaming platforms, including accounts, game engines, RNG components, wallets, and integrations.
  • Review system architectures, hosting environments, and infrastructure designs for regulatory alignment.
  • Support inspections and assessments of operators for technological compliance obligations.
  • Review architecture diagrams, SOPs, change records, and security documentation.
  • Assist in reviewing RNG certification reports, game configurations, payout tables, and system parameters.
  • Coordinate with independent testing laboratories to support review scope, findings, and remediation actions.
  • Prepare technical compliance assessment reports with observations, risks, and corrective actions.
  • Engage operators and providers to clarify requirements and support remediation.
  • Monitor operator compliance through periodic submissions and event-driven notifications.

The Technical Compliance Specialist (iGaming) supports the assessment, monitoring, and assurance of iGaming platforms to ensure compliance with applicable technological regulations, standards, and guidelines. The role focuses on the technical evaluation of iGaming systems, platforms, software components, and supporting infrastructure to ensure integrity, fairness, security, and regulatory compliance. The role supports regulatory decision‑making by conducting detailed technical reviews, coordinating with testing laboratories, and engaging with gaming operators and technology providers. The Technical Compliance Specialist operates under defined frameworks and supervision, contributing specialist technical expertise to the technology compliance function.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct technical compliance assessments of iGaming platforms, including player account systems, game engines, RNG components, wallet systems, and third‑party integrations.
  • Review iGaming system architectures, hosting environments, and infrastructure designs to assess alignment with approved regulatory and technical requirements.
  • Support inspections and assessments of gaming operators to verify adherence to technological compliance obligations.
  • Review technical documentation submitted by gaming operators, including architecture diagrams, SOPs, change records, and security documentation.
  • Support the review of RNG certification reports, game configurations, payout tables, and system parameters.
  • Assist in the assessment of software updates, platform changes, and infrastructure modifications to ensure controlled and approved changes to regulated systems.
  • Coordinate with independent testing laboratories to support review of testing scope, findings, and remediation actions.
  • Prepare technical compliance assessment reports, documenting observations, risks, non‑compliance issues, and recommended corrective actions.
  • Engage with gaming operators and technology providers to clarify technical requirements and support remediation activities.
  • Support ongoing monitoring of operator compliance through reviews of periodic submissions and event‑driven notifications.
  • Maintain accurate records, evidence repositories, and tracking logs related to technical compliance activities.
  • Stay informed about iGaming technology trends, emerging risks, and evolving regulatory and technical standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in technology, systems, or technical compliance roles, preferably within iGaming, gambling, financial services, or other regulated industries.
  • Exposure to iGaming platforms, online gaming systems, or regulated digital platforms is highly desirable.
  • Basic understanding of iGaming system components, including player accounts, game engines, RNGs, hosting environments, and integrations.
  • Familiarity with information security principles, system integrity controls, and logging/monitoring concepts.
  • Ability to analyze technical documentation and identify compliance gaps or risks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document findings clearly and accurately.
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow defined assessment methodologies and procedures.
